Reduced onboarding cycle time from ~7 days to ~24 hours by enabling self-serve setup across banker-led and client-led phases.
Overview
Redesigned the digital onboarding experience for adding accounts and complex financial products. I delivered end-to-end flows and high-fidelity prototypes using the Salt Design System — enabling clients to self-serve through the process with minimal banker dependency.

Founders and entrepreneurs faced a slow, manual onboarding process that required constant banker intervention — leading to long wait times and high friction at a critical moment in the client relationship.
Designed parallel flows for both banker-led and client-led phases, creating a seamless handoff experience. Shifted default task ownership to the client, reducing dependency on bankers and compressing cycle time dramatically.
As the Senior Product Designer on this project, I led the experience end-to-end — from early discovery through final handoff. I collaborated closely with PMs, engineers, and executives to align on scope and constraints, facilitated cross-functional working sessions to converge on a single solution, and defined the workflow and information architecture before moving into design. I then built high-fidelity prototypes using the Salt Design System and socialized them across product, engineering, and leadership teams — iterating until full stakeholder alignment was reached

Dashboard Components Designed and delivered dashboard components from scratch, ensuring consistency with the Salt Design System and scalability for future product needs.
Add Account & Product Experience Redesigned the full onboarding experience for adding accounts and complex financial products — covering both banker-led and client-led phases for founders and entrepreneurs.

Flow Redesign & Future Roadmap Redefined end-to-end onboarding flows and designed forward-looking patterns to support the product roadmap beyond the immediate release.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Approvals Worked closely with PMs, engineers, and executives across working sessions to align on a single solution direction and secure stakeholder sign-off at every stage.
